Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in program management, child development, and non-profit. As a Program Coordinator, you will play a key role in supervising and developing programs for children & youth ages 3-18 years old in Columbiana and rural Mahoning County.

Responsibilities:

- Believe in the mission of The Brightside Project and believe that your role is making a difference in the lives of children and making a positive impact in our community.

-Communicate and promote the mission of The Brightside Project to the community, assist in community outreach, and attend community events on behalf of The Brightside Project, when necessary.

- Assist in planning, as well as overseeing the implementation of The Brightside Project's programs including; The Sunshine Bus, Sunny Sunshine, The Imagination Library of Columbiana County, and bi-monthly Food for Kids.

-Responsible for maintaining The Sunshine Bus program including; scheduling visits, volunteer management, product inventory, stocking

-Help plan and offer support for special events including Bright Easter, Bright Christmas, Back to School Clothing and Shoe Voucher Sign-ups, Backpacks for Kids, and Coats for Kids.

-Work with school districts and community organizations to schedule programs and events.

-Keep accurate records including program schedules, data, volunteer scheduling, data, required grant information, school and community information, and necessary budget and financial information.

-Support in fundraising efforts

- Manage and supervise program volunteers to ensure effective program delivery

- Develop and implement program policies and procedures

- Coordinate with external agencies and stakeholders to enhance program outcomes

-Develop and maintain positive relationships and partnerships with school districts, organizations, existing partners, churches, donors, stakeholders, businesses, and anyone invested in the mission of The Brightside Project.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred, but not required
- Proven experience in program management, social work, or related field
- Strong interpersonal skills for relationship management with clients and stakeholders
- Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently
- Experience in budgeting and financial management
- Knowledge of working with children and youth of all ages is a plus
